someone say tea? there's a black horse outside, I was going to unsaddle him and put him in stable next to slippy but he kept saying neigh

Argh. Ace! Be a dear and answer the door. If it's...er...anyone in uniform, particularly of the guarding-the-law kind, and especially of the French kind, looking for a statue, then I'm definitely not here.

A rapid stream of french follows.

"He's grazing in the garden. The statue's a new one on me, but I'll keep an eye out."

*Voice fades as he leads the rider to the garden by the long way.*

Better hide it in case those uniform chaps return, they may think Hoops has something to do with it.
Turns to Lenny's sofa, here you go... throws statue to sofa who promptly swallows it.

Hey; the Asylum's still afloat.

I was expecting to come back and find it replaced by a cottage tearoom, with check tablecloths and scones with clotted cream and myrtle jam on the sideboard.
