The main problem is that he has to obey Toronta, even when she tells him to marry her.

The last thing he needs right now is his friends bailing out on him.

I do NOT have to obey her, I want to marry her.

And my problem is that Tempest sided with Mirinda on this matter and both are now trying do everything in their power to stop it.

I can't stay in the Bunker right now. This blasted ocean has permeated the entire place and now my electrical equipment is ruined.

I KNEW I should have gotten rid of this ocean.

A train draws up at Doncaster station, and a Chrispy gets out, with a rather dejected young griffon, no bigger than a St. Bernard, holding onto a collar and lead, and a feathered serpent round his neck (not a boa, a quetzacoatl).

Nobody reacts, even gets out of the way, as he consults his GPS and starts trudging nixiewards, patting the griffon occasionally, and making the sort of sympathetic noises one does when the creature coughs on the fumes – sort of 'there, there, you'll like her, just wait' type noises.

"About as generous as I could manage; you wouldn't expect me to give up friends…

But they're definitely mythical; Hrrugh here has a pedigree going back two centuries, and not one of his ancestors in that time could have been mistaken for real.

What were you intending, some sort of circus?"

The griffon cub stops trying to hide behind something considerably smaller than her, and sniffs the druid…

Hi hrrugh, this is Wally ( who sits contemplating moving back into basement) Fiddler, Juken and Tempest. Theres also Sleipner who lives in the stables here, Glicelia who has an ice cavern out back there, Tabby who is currently keeping an eye on a tear in the universe. You'll also meet a dog called Ruskal and two cockatiels Danni and Theirry when we go home.

The giant spider is Freda and the Kitten is Tangle, they live with Ace who will feed you when I'm busy.

I thought I gave Tempest to Rosemary, not Nixie. Apparently he ran away?

I have my reasons for dumping him off. I don't appreciate being covered in what smells like the waste from a ketchup factory.
