Re: The Asylum

If you count the news that I am in the lab as news, well, there you go.

Re: The Asylum

Is that really news, Ace? Isn't that what usually happens in Scotland, every day? It's like me telling you that it's grey and a bti drizzly in Durham

Re: The Asylum

A PhD in Arch and Geography, I'm mostly in geography these days. I'm trying to persuade the geographers that they want to go out tonight.

Re: The Asylum

Well it's actually not raining up here in Inverness and that is news

Northern lights 'wise, unfortunately we had cloud last night so saw nothing, funnily enough last time I saw them was driving north across the border on the Carlisle side of the country - quite a good display. Used to live in Shetland a long time ago and was spoilt there, with good displays being quite common. Still want to get into the far North of Norway sometime to hopefully see some really good displays.

Re: The Asylum

Freda scuttles in;

Nice Orange One !

"FREDA ! You're soaking wet. No hugs until you dry off."

Exhibit F. fetches the hairdryer and makes puppydog eyes.

"I swear you do that deliberately."

Starts to blow-dry her.

Re: The Asylum

I really want to see the Northern lights properly. I think I'm goign to have to be quite firm with the geographers to get them out, and staying out.

Re: The Asylum

Hope you won't be disappointed. To be fair that far south you will never get a really bright display. Also bear in mind that they can come and go. They might show for ten minutes then nothing for an hour and then be back again for an hour and so on.

Hi Freda that's a lovely hair do - didn't know Ace was so talented with a dryer!
