| Mad Mountain Man | Re: The Asylum Aaaahh *returns feeling calmer all signs of clouds now dispelled - partner well and truly smitten* Sorry 'bout that folks. All now sorted, dinner's in the oven (sorry Esioul) and feeling chilled again. I could really use that drink now and maybe a wee nip of Balvenie to go with it |

| Re: The Asylum Yep. Seems that our druidly friend is once more allowing his presence to be felt around the place. Good to have you back! ![]() And now it is coming up on time to shift the premises again. While it isn't something happening immediately, I think perhaps we'll move back to the Tea Room (renovated) come the first part of September. Change in season; return to schools in full swing; and a shift in locale here at the Chrons.... One word of caution, though: Once we do move, watch out for the animated dust..... |

| Re: The Asylum Slowly, because the software is messing about. The seperation between rmeote sensing and GIS is really, really annoying, because I want to get my remote sensing results into a nice map in the GIS, but of course the software doesn't like that.... arrrrrrrgh How are the homo erectuses doing? |

| Crooked Warden | Re: The Asylum I have got the chinese done, except the map of china, now I have to get the indonesian one and the Homo florensis, that one I think they will be picky on as my lecturer was on the Flores discovery team. then I have an essay to follow, yay! Next year I am going to attempt computing in archaeology with all the mapping and what not. |

| Re: The Asylum Good luck with that, Wybren. Mapping can be fun... well.... at least when the computer si cooperating. ERDAS seems to have crashed now, losing me the day's work. What are you using for the maps you're making at the moment? The combination of ERDAS, ArcMap and Illustrator is just a bag of despair. If only they'd let us have GIMP in the lab. |
