| resident pedantissimo | Re: The Asylum Hi, I'm back. It was practically the end of the "Music and science fiction" exhibition in "La maison d'ailleurs" (the house of elsewhere, or in this case, elsewhen, the science fiction museum in Yverdon les bains) Masses of sleeves of LP records, containing things like "Telstar" by the Tornadoes, David Bowie, Forbidden Planet soundtrack… And no-one minds if you take photos. Early Moog synthesizers, ondes martinot, theramin. And in the permanent exhibition, masses of pulps, 25 cents, I'll post some of them when I've compressed the contents of my camera. Sufficient excuse for going away? Oh, you hadn't noticed I was away? I see. Anyway, next week I'm popping back to the untied kingdom (seriously, united? It's obviously a spelling mistake) for a couple of weeks, so my posting might get a bit spotty. Not that it hasn't been very spotty of late, but for different reasons. |
