You only really need one right hand, K. Maybe that's where you've been going wrong ...

Re: The Asylum

I tried the violin for years, but I could never seem to progress- I was much better at singing. If I had more time, I'd take that up again.

Re: The Asylum

Not bad. Sleepy... spent saturday in the lab, may have to go in again tomorrow, undecided. I COULD go to the beach. Or sleep.

Re: The Asylum

Picks up a bottle and sniffs it, "Oh dear, I think somebody's been on a bender.

She'll be sleeping it off somewhere." Feeds Tangle, washes his hands and heads for Septimus, "Drink ?"

Re: The Asylum

Is there any drink left? I could do with some brandy, it's cold up north.

Re: The Asylum

"Sorry, to me you're down South," passes the brandy and gets himself an irn bru.

"I blame myself a bit. She gets bored easily and I've banned her from driving tanks."

Re: The Asylum

Hi, I'm back. It was practically the end of the "Music and science fiction" exhibition in "La maison d'ailleurs" (the house of elsewhere, or in this case, elsewhen, the science fiction museum in Yverdon les bains)

Masses of sleeves of LP records, containing things like "Telstar" by the Tornadoes, David Bowie, Forbidden Planet soundtrack… And no-one minds if you take photos. Early Moog synthesizers, ondes martinot, theramin.

And in the permanent exhibition, masses of pulps, 25 cents, I'll post some of them when I've compressed the contents of my camera.

Sufficient excuse for going away?
Oh, you hadn't noticed I was away? I see.

Anyway, next week I'm popping back to the untied kingdom (seriously, united? It's obviously a spelling mistake) for a couple of weeks, so my posting might get a bit spotty. Not that it hasn't been very spotty of late, but for different reasons.

Re: The Asylum

Bows, and sips; doesn't usually get back until it's cooled down quite a bit more.

My thanks

Re: The Asylum

"Well, look what the cat dragged in."

Freda totters in and collapses on the fireside rug, visibly flinching as Tangle hops onto her head.
