Noisy back there, isn't it?

And I'm beginning to think that an elf's idea of 'first thing in the morning' is the same as a Brazilian's; Nixie's had no end of meetings, apéritives, musical performances and a visit to the hairdresser, but nothing of any consequence has been said yet.

She isn't usually, that's why I had to call her out. I hate myself because, in her human form, she's half my size and I could flatten her with one hand.

You seem very sure of that. And I don't know why you keep going on with this "half my size" lark. The smallest of things can prove to deal fatal blows.

You might be able to flatten me with one hand...eventually, because, oh boy, would I give as good as I can in the process.

*Kicks a chair out of the way and goes into the kitchen. Knocks things aside and finally finds a large glass jar*
