Re: The Asylum

That only happens when mayors are honestly elected by water dwarves by counting how many eyeless fish are provided to each candidate and only if said election day falls on Monday the Fifteenth of the month.

*Hologram flickers again* -so you load all the chambers but one and then you-*Another flicker* -bet on which horse is going to win the race.

Re: The Asylum

It is absolutely beautiful country out here, little firefly. You absolutely MUST join me for a cup of tea. We've had the tea party since you've been gone, Alice. You're very late indeed, naughty. Late by three days, you are. Now come join me for tea and upelkuchen.

Re: The Asylum

Do you think I should stealth up? Just in case? If I keep the speed down, nobody knows I'm there – or cares, generally.

"The state he's in, he'll either blunder into Freda or be picked up by the dwarfs. Any bumps and bruises he gets along the way are his own stupid fault.

You're fine for the moment, Chris but thanks for the offer."

Makes tea.

Re: The Asylum

"Lucky they took the brownie along. We've a distance in ells and a heading pretty close to due east."

Pours tea for Chris, "Nixie ? Basically, whatever they're trying to do, Wally's slowing them down a bit, not being built for the long haul."

*Flows out of the sconce, then helps himself to Ace's tea*

Good cup there, chief. Cheers!

Good afternoon(here), my Asymates. How is all?

Re: The Asylum

Thanks

Sips still hot tea.

Well, if I don't have to sit in there at the ready, it is more comfortable. Even for someone who spends the majority of his time in a recording studio.

Re: The Asylum

*Sends a thermal or seven underneath the Chrispy one to see if he likes air chairs (or perhaps that's ch-AIRs ) better. Instucts thermals not so say anything, thermals generally not having the best grammar or composition skills....*

Re: The Asylum

Well, it certainly keeps one warm (or, I suspect two or three warm) where it matters.

But it's not the cushions that are ineffective in the stealthmobile, but the limited possibility for movement.

Re: The Asylum

Ah, and for one used to a console (or twelve), something more in line with the deck of a ship is needed, then. Can a ship's deck fit in the stealth mobile? If so, will it still be stealthy?

EDIT: Alas, I must ponder these and other salient questions as I drive home from work in the Grim Mobile, which ALSO doesn't have a ship's deck and probably doesn't meet the "roomy" requirement, either.....

A good evening/morning/afternoon/anomaly to all....

*Drains tea, then flows back into the sconce with a wave and vanishes....*

Re: The Asylum

*A storm forms outside as Karn is instantly teleported into the Asylum* Well, now! How do you like THAT for manners? Just because I stumbled upon an ancient elven wizardry academy they sent me home! And I tried to explain to them about what I was doing!

I thought elves were more hospitable than that. Fine, no matter. See if I ever allow it to rain upon their crops again!

Re: The Asylum

Hi Karn, Grim. I wouldn't make too much of a fuss, Karn. Irate elves ain't too subtle.

Re: The Asylum

Of course, but they did let Tempest and Freda through. I found some of Freda's webbing strung across the place......
