"Not particularly, Hoopy. The coating I plan to use works better under paint anyway, here you go."

Passes her a No6 modelmaking brush, the biggest she can lift. "Knock yourself out."

Re: The Asylum

Well, I wasn't really being serious, just checking to see that I hadn't accidentally turned down the volume on my voice again. But OK.

Um...*Looks down at the small paintbrush, and the many planks of wood going onto the caravan*

Re: The Asylum

S'OK Hoopy, I managed to get a job lot of orange paint and some industrial gear. Freda's never painted before so we can make a party of it.

Re: The Asylum

I could use one of those new things that they advertise, the Dulux spray tubs. Self-cleaning too, apparently.

*Lenny clatters into view, bruised, bloody, and dragging a small plank of oak*

Only a few hundred to go...

Re: The Asylum

*a second clatter, and a second plank*

Guhhh...

Does anyone mind the wood being red by the time you get it? Only some of the planks I have to clamber across are a bit, well, rough.

Re: The Asylum

See where the back is? Aye, there. For the moment it's just a case of taking them as you come to them, but the more we take, the lower the piles become, and the harder it becomes.

Ah well, you know what they say - hard work never killed no-one. Let's prove them wrong!

To you.

Anyone need an extremely large, strong, multi-tentacled being?

Re: The Asylum

Freda scuttles out of the sofa under a mound of planks, drops them beside the mural and goes back for another load.
