Mendoza In Hollywood?

I'm not sure if anyone can answer my question since I am in the US and this is a UK forum, but does anyone know why "Mendoza in Hollywood" is such a hard to find book in the states? The cheapest copy I could find is about $25.00 for a used copy, when all the other books in the series are readily available (though sime are rather expensive). I just finished Sky Coyote and really want to get my hands on the next installment of this great series! Thanks everyone!

That seems odd. Paperback copies should be available for much less. The libraries also have copies of many of her works.

Re: Mendoza In Hollywood?

Oops. Sorry to take so long to answer, but I've just gotten back online after a bit of an absence.

I wasn't aware that it was so difficult to find "Mendoza in Hollywood." I bought my copy at my local Barnes and Noble, I think. But I just checked their website and all that are available are used copies. Somebody wanted $57 for a paperback copy. I hope that's a misprint, because that's just nuts.

It is possible that "Mendoza" is out of print at the moment. I also checked Kage Baker's website, but there is no mention there of that being the case. Is there any chance you read French? I ask because there is a note there that the book has been bought for publication in France.

Anyway, I think dwndrgn's suggestion that you try the library is probably a good one. Also, if you have a local bookstore that will special order books, they should be able to tell you if it is indeed out of print at the moment.

Hope this helps.
