Re: My library has a poor selection

The problem is that Moorcock also did a lot of different things as well (eg as well as Eternal Champion there was: Cornelius Quartet, Gloriana, Mother London, Pyat Quartet to name a few) - and he initially had more skill as a writer, as well as writing a lot more. Eddings novels tend to be enjoyable the first time you read them but don't last that way for long.

Re: My library has a poor selection

I enjoyed Redemption much more than Sparhawk and friends. I felt Sparhawk was the rehash, even though I read them and enjoyed them.

I find his work incredibly deep and meaningful and every now and then I run into tidbits from our world's history which makes me re-reflect on Eddings' works and appreciate what they are doing on a new and deeper level.

Until The Wolf's true identity is revealed, Make Mine Eddings!

Hi, I am new here and nice to meet u all!

I've just finish re -reading Althalus for the 4-5 time already...

I love this book...and I think I enjoyed it more than I did Sparhawk too...

But then again...Polgara was probably my favourite!

I was lucky that way, I lived in Glasgow with an excellent second-hand bookshop just around the corner. The owner was so impressed that I didn't come in for porn that we became friends and he always gave me a discount in return for helping out. Even now, some ten years later, many of my books, Including the Belgariad and Malloreon, still have his stamp on them.
