Hello *friendly wave*

It was a chilly Febuary Night when Rookie, as bold as he was, desided to join a writing community to furthur increase his talents. While looking around for a suitable site, he stubled upon SFFChronicles and adventurously clicked the link.

And thats the story of how I found SFFC. Hello, I'm Rookie, but feel free to call me Rook. I'm in my last year of school and wanting to finish a book before the year is out, even thoguht I haven't started one yet. Pleased to meet you fellow SFFC goers.

Re: Hello *friendly wave*

I'm Australian, Summer is during December for me... I have holidays in about... 6 maybe 7 weeks. I usually spend my time writing on my laptop during holidays, at school I have this battered pink notebook that my aunt sent to me,it used to be Red but it faded and went pink. It has lots of idea's in it.

Oh, and thankyou for the welcome.

Okay. Will do, If I can find it that is. BTW... that sort of looks like L in your avatar.

And Chopper, here is what I don't get. In Britain way back when, the nobles were living in a cramped swereage filled city, smog everywhere cloudy skies and a chill in the air like some ghost watching your ever move.

And so they sent their convicts to Australia. Where we have wide open hills, sunny most of the time, large amount of resources, and turtles the size of canoes. How weird is that.

Ah! But they didn't have Tradition in Australia. People need tradition more than air, especially if they are British.

Welcome to the Chrons.

Re: Hello *friendly wave*

Actually I detest vegemite. Its one of my vices.

Australia did have tradition. But the British settlers made sure they got rid of tradition and intergrated the natives into the Western 'white' society.

Welcome to the Chronicles, Rook. It's always good to see new faces around here, and from what I've seen so far, it looks like you'll fit right in.
