Hey there all,

I have just signed up and thought I should say hi

I should probably tell you all abit about myself so here I go:

My name is James and I am currently 18 years of age, 19 next month. My hobbies are listening to rock and metal music, playing RPG's and attempting to write fanfiction based on the Bioware games, Baldur's Gate and BG2.

I plan to return to college this September and I hope to one day be a computer games designer and programming. I also have a desire to be a professional author.

Well, thats pretty much me in a nutshell. If you have any other questions then just ask

Welcome there Dark-Mage... Always good to see another BG fan... What about IWD??? And Planescape Torment???

What other Sci-Fi/Fantasy stuff are you into???

Never played Torment but I have heard some good things about it. I havn't played IWD/IWD 2 to much either though I do actually own those games.

I actually only bought IWD as it had the same game engine as BG, I then found out that it just didn't match up to it story wise. What's your opinion on IWD?

I enjoyed Icewind Dale, but I preferred Temple of Elemental Evil...manily because I remember playing the tabletop version

IWD is okay... And because of the same style as BG, I enjoyed it immensely... But very different in places in style and play-ability!!!

Well worth playing...

And BG's storyline is far superior... Why it is a classic!!!

I play "Black & White." Right now, I'm on Land Three. Also, I've enjoyed the "Might & Magic" games. I know, I haven't really played any of the new stuff, but the old stuff is just as good.
