Allright everyone, my name is Kevin Mitchell and iam 21(believe it or not, most wont) and iam from Scotland

Just found this site today, cant believe ive not heard of it before. Hopefully it will be a new home for me, only have one person to talk about sci-fi/fantasy where i live (lucky if some of my friends can hold a book the right way up) anyways...

My favourite author is George RR Martin who writes A Song of Ice and Fire series (cant wait for adwd)

My favourite TV Show is Red Dwarf (smeg heads)

My favourite Sci-Fi film is Equilibrium

thats about it wont bore you with a list of hobbies (dont have many) hopefully i'll speak to some of you soon

Sleep? What do you think coffee is for? As for eating, I don't think that anyone with the first name of Tokey and surname Doobie would forget. Just try not to drop crums on the keys, Tokey, and you'll be fine.

Why wouldn't I believe you're twenty one? I'm magnificently gullible, and can vaguely remember being that age myself, so it can not be considered an impossible, nor even an improbable, age to attain. Now, staying there for any length of time, as a large number of female human beings seem to long for, that would be a trick. Still, males have no fear of maturity, not so?

As regards people with whom you can discuss your obsessions, there isn't exactly a shortage of those around here. Oh, you might be able to find a moment when there's no-one talking, but they're rare (not that you're doing anything to make them rarer; five days already, and no countable posts? Or are you trying to read the entirety of the GRRM subforum before risking giving your opinion?)

So, don't worry about the differential time scales, the addictive nature of the site, the strange looking (and acting) inhabitants, you're here now, and that's the end of the story.
