Strider: First Impression-> tall, Dark, Mysterious, Guy who turns out to be on the good side.(remeber the scene at the Prancing pony) Literally becomes a guide and protector of Frodo(the Main Character). Knows the uses for plants others would not think of to use.

Strider: Cares for and respects Frodo for obvious reasons. has no real magic powers of any kind. speaks Elvish. Is heir to a throne possibly soon to be king of Gondor. Part three spoiler: as we know he does become the king of Gondor before too long. |
