| Re: Cul's Sports Bar I've been listening to a sports-oriented programme on Radio Five Live. They were discussing the Athletics World Championships when someone broke in to say that the German authorities are reporting a drug test failure against one of the finalists in, I think, the 100m sprint. One of the reporters/commentators/gab-merchants added apologetically: "We wouldn't have brought this to your attention if there wasn't some substance behind it." They don't say.... |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar I am really! And I know heaps of people that are into it. So I'm not really sure where you're standing... perhaps an isolated monastery tucked away somewhere in the great dividing range? That sounds pretty cool, can I come visit? |

With inner peace will come the realisation that Queensland is the greatest state, and that Queenslanders are far more talented at all pursuits and just generally better looking. Then and only then may your travels bring you north of the Tweed to our oasis of perfection. |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar A bit delayed but congrats to Geelong on winning the AFL grand final on Saturday. I was hoping for a Saints win but they both put on a great game and now maybe the media will ease off a little on how 'They can't be considered a great team with only one premiership'. Now if only the Dockers can get their @#%$^& act togther . |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar What a crap year for me following sport: - the Waratahs miss out on the finals; - Australia loses the Ashes; - NSW loses State of Origin; - Wallabies lose the Bledisloe and the Tri-Nations; - the Swans miss the top 8; - and the only shining light the Bulldogs don't make it to the grand final: they are beaten by the the team that came EIGHTH, when they came SECOND (and should have come FIRST) in the ladder. ![]() ![]() |

| Keep Moving Forward! | Re: Cul's Sports Bar If we couldn't win it, I really wanted the Dogs to win it, what with half of their team being ex-Broncos. I really don't like Parra, but I'm not torn on this one at all, because I despise Melbourne. Am working Sunday, so probably won't even watch the final, though.... |
