The knock on was line ball, but the penalty that gave us the field position was a joke, Thaiday was pushing the pass. You guys had the run of it in the last twenty minutes, though. That penalty for pushing Inglis into touch, come on. And we gave you plenty of chances, not our fault your boys don't know how to throw the ball backwards...

Maji's Eels got up over the Rabbits, I see. One for two tipping so far this weekend. Same old Souths. I'll tip against them next week and they'll win...

Line ball, maybe but surely you can't ignore it on review.

I didn't see the Inglis push really well, but we did make a meal of the last bit. We had our chances and it was entertaining.

I thought it went forward when I first saw it, and then with a second look it did seem to go more sideways rather than back or forward. The refs were closer than anyone, so you'd hope they'd know. You'd hope... In any case, you always play the whistle, and the Storm defenders seemed more intent on doing the refs' job for them than stopping Wallace.

Anyway, it's only round two. There's a rematch in Melbourne and then finals yet - plenty of chances for the luck to swing the other way. And it always does.
