| Re: Cul's Sports Bar Day 4: Hughes batted quite well but Aussie collapse has made it interesting.....loosing 7/48 to be 8 for 150 but still 400 ahead and with the ball swinging and rain on the horizon for day 5 Aussies probably the only team that can win from here. |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar What the...?!! What's happened to the South Africans....? Australia currently 0/184 with new player Phillips on 115 (second youngest Aussie ever behind Doug Walters to get his first century, previous scores of 0 and 75 represent a healthy rise in confidence) and Katich on 50 odd. Reminds me a little of the ashes series of '89 when a little respected/known Aussie team came to England to battle for the ashes and the rest as they say was history. EDIT: Phillips just out, 115 off only 150 balls with 2 6s and a myriad of 4s...not bad for a greenhorn. Aus: 1/184 |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar End of Day 1 Aus: 4/303..pretty good start to the match. If they only draw this match it will mean they retain their No. 1 spot, something I never expected them to be near to in S.A., especially still in Game 2 of 3. |

| Keep Moving Forward! | Re: Cul's Sports Bar Oh, bloody hell, a week out from the start of the NRL season and we already have two alleged rapes and a drunken assault. I'm past this, it's time Gallop issued a no second chances policy. One strike, see you later, have fun playing union... |

| Keep Moving Forward! | Re: Cul's Sports Bar Brett Stewart, face of the $1.5 million ad campaign launched Wednesday or Thursday and pulled overnight (that's pretty good value, around half a mil a day...). The other sexual assault was some lower grade Balmain players (good to see them starting early) and I'd heard Anthony Watmough was involved in the assault, but haven't heard anymore on that with the Brett Stewart thing all over the news up here... |

| Actum pro novus diem | Re: Cul's Sports Bar Second innings at the end of day three Australia is 3/292 with Phil Hughes being the youngest player ever to get a century in both innings of a test. Australia leading by 506 runs Ponting also passed 2000 test runs against South Africa, only the third person to do that and he is now the second highest run scorer for Australia, over taking Steve Waugh. Who is going to open? On the radio they were reckoning Amla. And Prince will come back into the side and take over captain until Smith is recovered from yet another broken hand. I think he needs to find some different gloves or just not face Johnson. |

| Re: Cul's Sports Bar Phil out for 160, Australia declared 545, S.A. need 546 to win in 5.5 sessions with only 9 batsmen, skipper being injured. Likely result is an Australian win or if the weather intervenes a draw, either way they at worst draw the series, at best win the series and have effectively already retained the No. 1 ranking. Good job boys... |
