Mark!!

You know I was talking about an author who came to my school to do a talk recently? Well, apparently we're looking for more authors to do the same. I'm not sure if its quite your thing, as its a higher, and wider, age-group than what you were talking about before (anything from 11-17). And just a talk and Q&A session, I think, not a workshop really, though they'll organise something around what you're best at I expect. You interested? Want me to mention your name?

Mind you, you probably have enough on your plate

Cal, I'd love to do it. Dates in April, May and June are all open to negotiation. I am infinitely flexible with regards to the nature of the talk. I can suggest various different themes if they are interested, but a general author talk is fine as well. Would it just be one session? If I'm going to drive down to your neck o' the woods, it would be good to speak to as many people as possible. You can tell your school that I will happily do sessions all day long if they can provide the audience.

Well, I'll see what I can do

Will report back when I've established whether they'll want ya or not (j/k, they'll leap at the opportunity from what they've said. Mind you, they do lie sometimes)

Well, I've mentioned it to the lower echelons of the powers that be, and encouraging noises have been made

Great. I look forward to setting a date. It's always nice to meet people from this site.
