The thing that *really* niggles me is that we are expected to believe that SG1 and General Hammond are *dumb* enough to take on Judas Quinn :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire
S.G.-1 is a person short. S.G.C. has on a hand a pool of proven high calibre humans who would give their eye teeth for a chance to join the flagship team, S.G.-1.
Do they choose one of their own whom they've trained for the job? You'd think so, wouldn't you? But no.
They are going to pass over all these excellent people for an alien BAD EGG who:
1. stood cravenly by while Dr. Jackson promptly and courageously leapt in to save his people,
2. colluded in the blackguarding of Daniel's reputation over the damage to the lab. in order to preserve his own reputation.
3. stole naquadrium from his own people
4. treasonably took it to a foreign power
5. made S.G.C. a present of this stolen property, thus making them accessories after the fact of his crime, and risking a diplomatic embarrassment when the theft is discovered and the thief has absconded to Earth...
