I mean, I don't know, I'm just guessing, I'm not inside your head and I don't know how intensely you feel about the demise of Daniel, but let's face it Daniel was a 'pretty boy' too and I know that he was there from the outset of the show and many have grown to love and respect the character, but perhaps we need to give Jonas the benefit of the doubt. He may fit in like a charm, we won't really know until we have seen an episode where he's reacting to the rest of the team and seen what, if any, rapport he manages to achieve.

Just a thought or two.
I totally agree. We CAN'T look at Jonas through the lens of Daniel Jackson. That would be unfair and not the right thing do to.

Sure, many people will compare Daniel to Jonas. Remember though, you wouldn't be doing justice to your favourite show by doing such that.

Michael Shanks left the show because Stargate had nothing left to offer. He was bored. Going nuts. WACKO!

The bottom line is respect MS decision and think of Jonas as new blood to the show.

Were you tired of the same old story line? Well, Jonas will bring new character, plots, and stories to the show. A wonderful idea since now planet earth MIGHT have a valuable trading partner.
