I decided to give him a chance and I must say that I kinda liked the character.
When SG-1 first met him and he had this idiotic grin on his face was when I had to grin, too! I'm with Pam and also think they made his character as similar to Daniel as possible.
I wasn't too happy when I heard Corin Nemec's gonna be the 'new guy' on Stargate but I have to admit he did good although I too think that neither General Hammond nor Jack would offer him a job in the SGC let alone put him on SG-1 both because the way he reacted in the episode and the fact that SG-1 is the flagship team.
But so far we have no idea what will happen to the character so I'll climb up my tree again and...wait and see...
