Signing Events.

Events in the next few weeks:

WH Smith Cheltenham: All day Saturday 12th March 2005.
WH Smith Bristol (Cripps Causeway): 10am - 4pm 29th and 30th March 2005.

If anyone lives locally to either of these venues, I would be delighted to see you there.

Mark, your marketing notes were extremely helpful, especially the part about book signings. I'm going to be doing a lot of these toward the end of this year when my novel comes out; and had I not read your notes, I definitely would have sat my butt down BEHIND the table, alienating potential customers!

It's not so much that you would alienate them, Circus - just frighten them off. I'm sure you'll agree that this is not the desired effect!

Had a great time in both Cheltenham and Bristol. Sold out at Cheltenham - should have taken more books. Went better prepared to Bristol and sold over 260 books in two days... yeehaa! Hope to do more signings soon.

Well, Putney was fun! Great day of signing books. I've not got any more events booked for a while now, as I want to get settled into my new house. The next event in my diary is the Cosford Airshow on 12 June, when I'll be signing books in the Charity Hangar to raise money for Children In Need. Hope to see some of you there.
