Also, we're told Jonas is an archaeologist as well as a physicist. How nice. Maybe he can take over Sam's role as well.
What experience or skills could he possibly bring to the SGC? His planet's technology is 60 years behind the U.S., he doesn't have the knowledge of earth cultures that Daniel did and he certainly doesn't look military.
However, it's obvious that TPTB don't give a rat's ass what the fans think. They'll probably try to jam him down our throats in S6. As for the whole 'hunk' thing, we'll see about that.
(Actually, I'm hoping for a Sam/Jonas romance. That would be a nice twist.)
If they want new blood, why not replace Jack? RDA's been phoning it in for the last season, and he'll only be in 15 eps anyway. |
