Hi Anni, I like what you said. It's a very thin line between realistic storytelling and entertainment, I guess the producers are constantly juggling with that.
I am looking forward to some new blood in the team, I'm always in favour of anything that may add a new angle or dynamic to a show I've grown to know well. I liked the character of Daniel Jackson, but he's as good as lost now and I had my little weep during Meridian, so I'm happy to wait and see who's gonna be the new angle.
I hadn't realised that it was this Jonas Quinn guy until I stumbled across this thread. If he's the guy who was in Meridian and flashed a stunning smile at SG1 when he met them, then he already has one fan. I'm looking forward to seeing him join the team and am curious to see how they write him. The producers haven't let us down yet and don't expect them to now that Michael Shanks has chosen to leave the show.
