| Errata for the B&N volume In this thread I intend to post errata for H. P. Lovecraft: The Fiction, issued by Barnes & Noble in 2008. I will make separate posts for each text from the book. After I have posted MY errata for a story, I invite everybody else to fill in anything that I have missed, but in order to keep everything neat and tidy, PLEASE do not post anything on a story before I have done so. I use the Arkham House corrected editions as my copy text. Whenever I find something that diverges from the AH text, I check all the other sources that I have available: Tales, the Penguin volumes, the Hippocampus Press volumes... heck, I'll even check the Gollancz Necronomicon in an emergency. The numbers I use in my posts refer to page and line numbers of The Fiction. Good hunting! Last edited by Ningauble; 1st December 2008 at 05:47 PM. |

In the case above, both seem equally possible. |
