| Shards of a Broken Crown *Spoiler* I thought it would be a dud, but I thought it was one of Feists best. I was intruiged by Zaltais, wonder if I'll see him again? I especially liked the part where the dead rose. Now there is a few complaints. Pug used to be my second favourite character, but after serpentwar, he now just annoys the hell out of me, he just seems like a self important prig . I have a feeling I won't be seeing Tomas for a while . I am now up to Talon of the silver hawk, and after serpentwar it seems like its going to be a disapointment. Will there be more about Jimmy's sons? I am intruiged by Dash being the upright man. Wish martin didnt die . |

| Pain: the best teacher. | Re: Shards of a Broken Crown *Spoiler* It is/was for me a huge dissapointment. Then again, I've read the SW Saga a good few times and it's some of my favourite fantasy. Feist hasn;t reached such heights before or since. On Zaltais, he was a dream right? so may not even exist any more, dreams change and move on. Yeah, I have to agree there was al least one book about Jimmy and Dash there to be written, but, such is the rivers flow. |

| Re: Shards of a Broken Crown *Spoiler* I really enjoyed SoaBC to be honest. I liked the interactions between the two brothers, the madness of Patrick (youthful madness); but was also disappointed by the end. To suddenly have Zaltais appear and take over the remainder of the Emerald Queen's army over such a short space of time and with no warning says to me that Feist improvised a bit. Although I'm probably wrong! Will we ever see Zaltais again? I don't think so, but there's always the possibility of another dream entity appearing |
