| The Horrors are Real ![]() I hope I've been posting here long enough so that this is considered spam... If not, please delete. The fruits of my month-long horror read-a-thon have been harvested, and a new website has been birthed. I wrote a series of small reviews interwoven with a work of fiction. It can be found here: Playtime Magazine » Blog Archive » The Horrors are Real - A Reading Journal Stop on by and take a look. Playtime-Magazine should be a lot of fun. We've got people from all over the world, and all walks of life, producing all kinds of things: media reviews, articles on gender issues, society, the economy, literature, original fiction, photography, music, art, comics, and so on. We're approaching this as a monthly magazine, along with frequent weekly updates. Hope to see you around. Last edited by D_Davis; 31st October 2008 at 09:50 AM. |

| Re: The Horrors are Real While I've not yet had a chance to read the entirety of the piece, what I have is quite nicely done... and the interweaving of the journal with the story works rather well, overall. (Incidentally, this is also something Klein used in his The Ceremonies, to good effect. I'd say more, but it might spoil some discoveries along the way for you.) One thing puzzles me, however: Quote:
Of course, if I'm misreading the above sentence (or its meaning in context) then please disregard everything I've said.... | |
