Bleh

Last night saw me off to the doctors...so now...1000mg paracetamol, 600mg Ibuprofen, 60mg Codeine, 65mg Caffeine & 500mg of Penicillin.....and I feel like I've swallowed barbed wire.

Then a friend sent me this....so I thought I'd share

Re: Bleh

It's not flu as such. My lady went out to the supermarket on Tuesday evening, by the time she came back I was in agony, dizzy, nauseous, feverish and aching everywhere.

It came on in less than 2 hours. That lasted 2 days then went away. Now I have some form of throat infection, feels like I've been gargling with broken glass and there's fresh blood from the back of my throat.
No phlegm at all, and apart from that I feel fine.

The doc said there is a lot of it in the area at the moment, a comment which just served to reinforce my belief that the NHS is useless at identifying and controling the spread of infections and diseases.

Re: Bleh

Well I got the advantage or disadavantage of having a doctor for mother.
Advantage: cheap consultation (although in belgium social security pays more than half the doctor's visit)
Disadvantage: a lot of of diseases try to find their way towards your house (they take my mother's patients as transport)

I get treathed mostly homeopathic (hope this means the same in english), but yeah well sometimes it's better to be sure.

Ok....the childish git in me was desperate to write a long post convincing you that homeopathic was actually a phrase used in relation to being trated for hating all homosexuals.

Fortunately the vaguely adult part of my intellect won....just.

My lady has homeepathic treatment occasionally...about once a month....you know....the time when most men spend quality time in the pub or the dojo
Although since sha started I haven't had to escape at all

Bleh Mk2

The throat infection cleared up.....now I have an ear infection....

Speaks of a certain divine sense of humour.

Why am I spending time posting to everyone about my ear and throat infections.....

Re: Bleh

well in fact it isn't really broken, but it sure was close.

Mmm how it happened; well our school had a sporting day and during the brake a friend of mine asked to fight a round(an empty judo tatami; you can't spoil the opportunity we thought) (he did 9 years of karate and then quited so I was sure to lose, but I was bored). So I accepted, but at a given point we both thought of giving a punch and our fists hit at full speed.

I'll survive, my finger is still a bit blue, but it is healing fast.

Re: Bleh

Look for 'arnica' at your local health food store. It's a homeopathic treatment that reduces bruising quite effectively.
