Feist, Sloppy?

Is it the editors, Feist or just me? When I read King's Bucaneer there were so many errors that while I laughed at first, I was baffles by the end. Hw could so many errors get through? A couple to name were calling Kulgan, Fulgan and Ghuda, Khuda. They may not sound big but there is so damn many of them.

Re: Feist, Sloppy?

I have read a few books where editers have missed spelling errors, but mostly only in early release in hardback - latter editions tend to get the mistakes edited out.
But I have heard similar comments about Fiest before - some even think he might have been using ghost writers in latter books hence leading to some bigger mistakes.
Its a great shame if this is the case

Re: Feist, Sloppy?

The amount of mistakes he made during Buccaneer is inexcusable. Everyone makes mistakes, I know, but Feist does seem to make more than usual. Although I think he's dyslexic?

I think I know why he makes so many story errors in the later books though; I remember reading somewhere that he doesn't reread any of his books after he has finished the final draft and got the book published. I think this lack of knowledge about certain aspects of his own books are letting him down.
