Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Mary, the product description for city of swords on amazon talks about the book like it is going to be the last in the series... Please tell me that this is just a misunderstanding on their part!! There is going to be another book...isn't there?

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Hi Mary, I'm a Dutch girl and I like the Stravaganza-books very much. I'm sorry for my English, if I make mistakes in my grammar or vocabulary. I'm excited that there is going to be a new book! I can't wait very long for it but I fear the Dutch translation is ready in 2013? I hope you are going to write more Stravaganza-books because they are extremely good written! So I hope Bloomsbury is going to publish all (I hope) 12 books for each city (Are you going to write them in the future?)... Are there going to be more babies in City of the Swords? A baby for Geatano and Fransesca? And are we going to hear more about Beatrice and Arianna? Greetings, Emma Last edited by MusicEm; 10th April 2012 at 03:53 PM.

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! I will be abroad when it comes out, so I am going to have to wait until September... ![]() I seriously hope that Bloomsbury will come to their senses and commission books for the rest of the cities already!! I don't like having the future of one of my favourite book series hanging in the balance...it's too stressful ![]() Mary, jut in case this is the last book, it doesn't end on a cliffhanger or set up a new plot line, does it? because I think that that would really kill me...having the new plots but no books to follow up...

So, although I love and support libraries and have campaigned to save them for over 20 years, I have to say that when my books are borrowed from libraries, that does not count as a sale and contributes towards the publisher's decision. (This is not in my hands, you understand). I knew before finishing Swords that there would not be any more books (unless a miracle like a film happens). So the ending should be fully satisfactory, although something does happen that does leave the way open for my idea of what books 7-12 would be. I hope that answers your questions. I am thrilled that my Dutch publishers have taken Swords without having read it in order to keep the publishing schedule on track.(I met them in Bologna last month) Also that I have had the same Dutch translator for all six books. | |

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Spoilers in White. I have a question.... Do you think that fabrizio will realize that if he accepts beatrice into his family again, then classe will sort of be under di chimici rule?

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Finished Swords last night. Loved it! If the series is truly over, I think it was a very good way to end the series. That being said, is there someway we can appeal to Bloomsbury to continue or do we need to wait for some sort of a movie deal to come through for them to reconsider?
