Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Hi guys! I just found this awesome forum. Cross your fingers and hope that my English will be good enough. So stupid to live in Finland where you English is... well, not quite good. ^^ And in English you have these stupid "at, in, on, about, for, from, etc."-things what I totally don't understand at all! But that's off-topic, and what I really wanna say is that I love stravaganza books! I just found them like two weeks ago and then I read a book in two days, then the next one and third one too... and now I'm waiting the City of Secrets... argh I hate library system, why there's just one copy of it... I've been waiting more than one week! (but what i read about your waitings that's not bad at all... would be awful to wait months!) And I'm not even sure if we have the city of ships yet! I think they haven't translate it yet... maybe I read it in english (funny thing: I read and understand english really well but making sentences... gosh that's hard!). And I'm sad 'cos I read the character list of city of ships and there was no mention about Guido Parola! My favorite character plz tell me why i'm always falling in love with those character who are barely mentioned in series? Same thing with Harry Potter-books, I mean, Lee Jordan? He's gorgeous but his role is very small... this thing is kinda funny too. ![]() I said my english-writing's awful and still I'm writing wery long post... and i don't even like talking!... I think :'D But all I wanna say that Stravaganza is all what I've been looking for! good fantasy, I was already depressed 'cos i couldn't find anything good enough. So thanks for the Stravaganzas ![]() It's really long time to wait until I can hold City of Swords in my hands.. But i'll be waiting, 'cos i really believe it will be awesome too Last edited by Dreamy; 15th September 2010 at 05:29 PM.

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Thank you, Dreamy. I can promise you that Guido Parola will be a big character in City of Swords! You are not the only one who likes him. If you go to fanfiction.net, then Books, then Stravaganza you will find someone has just written something about him. All best Mary

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! Oh, I'm so happy to hear about the Guido Parola thing! Now I just can't wait City of Swords, it will be too awesome. And I have to wait like... two years? Plus the translating thing! Blah, that's gonna be long long time. I just read City of Secrets, and I loved it! I was quite afraid about reading it, 'cause I thought I wouldn't like it so much (because there's not so much about Guido Parola) but that was okay, it was fantastic even without him (and the little part with him was great!). And 'cause they haven't translate City of Ships yet, I ordered it in English. It will take like 6-10 days to get it! Can't wait it. That is the book with the twin, right? I've never been good at waiting. I think I'm gonna read City of Swords in English too before translate version.Btw, I know what fanfic you mean! It's great.

Re: There will be a sixth Stravaganza! "Next year" doesn't seem too bad now, thinking of the time I waited between reading City of Stars and City of flowers! I finished Stars in May of 2008! ![]() But finally yesterday the miracle happen and I got the five books! And now I'm reading City of Flowers and I'm so happy! It's like a meeting with old friends. I wished to drop here to congratulate Mary, I love the way you write, you make a whole world so real and now that I'm reading you in the original language I can see how really great it is, and easy to understand for somebody who doesn't know too much english. (OK I have some problems when Dethridge talks...) And I'm still Rodolfo's fangirl

Btw Mary, have you ever heard of patrick ness? It's just that I was reading his chaos walking books that other day and I fell in love with them. |
