I understand your pissed off attitude but what you need to understand is that Brian has a life too. He has given up not just this weekend getting chrons back online but also a greater part of his life to get chron's up and running and maintaining it from thereon.

Be pissed but perhaps vent it a little better and also be appreciative of those who have enabled you to get back online in the first place.

I came to Feedback with a relative lack of knowledge of the crash (Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada, so little computer time), which I noticed when I logged on to the Tolkien trivia question, and said, WHAT THE?!? Too bad I found what I did, which is beneath Chronian standards.

Anyway, Brian, you deserve a great big pile of thanks from all of us at the Chrons. The obvious catastrophe was almost completely mitigated by your tireless effort, and all of us, including those who have difficulty controlling their impulses, owe you a huge debt of thanks, and perhaps drinks for life (some restrictions may apply!). Spread out among all of us, that would be a small price to pay for your commitment.

Regarding the commencement of this thread, I know others have said to drop it, but the behaviour we have seen is not acceptable, ever. I share Ace's sentiments, as there is absolutely no room for that kind of wingeing, especially when Brian was already wading through crap at hip-level during precious time off. I am glad that there was an apology, but that the comment was made in the first place is unconscionable. A verbal outburst I can understand, but to actually form enough intent to type it out, and then click "Submit Reply"? That goes way beyond the Pale.

Brian, again, you have my thanks.
