Hmmm, Gamecast is showing me something different....

Never mind; you saw it too. I'd ask how you're doing, but it can wait until after the game!!!

Nah, I'm watching ESPN's Gamecast. Haven't seen them be wrong yet!

(To which Cay and Cul ask, you live in the States; why aren't you watching your TV?)

Duty calls, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll get back to a PC before the end. Wait, touchdown! Brees to Colston!

Going away happy now...

24 points down...it's not looking good for Weasel Soup tonight....Cul and Edott are dancing in the streets, though (well, all right, at work then, oh moderator sir!).

And we win two in a row! I honestly didn't think we were going to get there this year! And back in the black for the first time since the first round. Unfortunately we're still adrift in the NFC South, but at least we still have some slender hope...

Indeed. And at least one team ahead of you (ahem, mine!) is quite capable of choking like dogs.....

Re: Football (american football to those across the pond!)

How did Drew Brees not get a perfect QB rating this game?

And why did the Saints go for 2 points when the score was 51 - 29?

I had Drew Brees and Michael Turner in my fantasy this week...

Re: Football (american football to those across the pond!)

And the blasted 72 Dolphins pop yet another cork and celebrate, even if the Pats muted the celebration somewhat last year. Ah well, it was a decent run, Cay.

Approaching the Thanksgiving Games, we find:

Cayal 10-1 (Titans)
Pyan 8-3 (Jets)
LOW 7-4 (Patriots)
Grim 7-4 (Redskins
Ursa 7-4 (Cowboys)
J-Sun 7-4 (Cowboys)
Seph 6-5 (Vikings)
Parson 6-5 (Vikings)
Cul 6-5 (Saints)
Edott 6-5 (Saints)
Weasel 5-6 (Packers)
Wiglaf 4-7 (Chargers)
Clovis 3-8 (49ers)
Simian 3-8 (Raiders)
Joja 2-9 (Seahawks)
Monty 0-11 (Lions)

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Joja vs The Great Bear and J-Sun, with Cay's Titans putting a 4-day rest to the test on Turkey Day.

Take the Cowboys and give whatever points, it's a lock. The only hope is that TO's head swelled from that last game and Romo's hand acts up in a very bad way. Then, and only then, can the Seahawks stay within the spread. They still can't win though.

So I see that JoJa... Is an optimistic fan.

By the way, in my ESPN pick against the spread in which I am over the 95 percentile of those who pick, [The Parson says a bit to immodestly for his own good ] I did pick the Cowboys and gave away 12.5 points.

I am still debating picking the Bears and taking (How can my Vikes be the Favorite?) the 3.5 points. My head says Bears, my heart says Vikes.

It's true that Dallas should win, but watch our special teams - we're fairly banged up and signed a Charger off their practice squad to immediately come in and play - and our special teams suck even in the best of times. If there's some kind of St.Louis melt down, you never know.

But Dallas must win this if they're to have any chance at the playoffs, since I doubt they can lose this one and win three or four of the remaining four. I think we can win this and split the remainder and that may be enough but I'd hate to need more.

Anyway - hope everyone who participates enjoys Turkey Day and/or the games.
