| Sure it does. I sometimes wonder, as evidenced by later eps, that she just hasn't given up. Buffy throughout, tries to make her understand that she isn't alone but is rebuffed in her attempts. I also wonder if she doesn't see needing others as a weakness ... maybe that was spoon fed to her by her parents or some other adult role model she had.
