| Short Story "Maryann" '60's -- Info? There was a short story called Maryann (sp?) published in a well-circulated anthology back in the '50's or '60's. It was about an alien child who was left behind after a UFO crash, who was a shape-shifter. She takes the form of a human child and is adopted. Eventually she is rescued. The story ends with a bird flying out to sea (presumably Maryann going to meet her rescuers). Anyone have information about the name of the anthology, the author, or where a copy might be found online?  Thanks... |
