(Until there's a statement along the lines of: "While the tax burden on Pringles has been reduced, the rise in the price of our high quality ingredients means that we are unable to reduce the price of this premium product".) According to Wiki, they were originally marketed as "Pringle's Newfangled Potato Chips"; Wiki also states that Gene Wolfe "developed the machine that cooks them". |
