How do you imagine the characters?

How do you imagine the characters look from Drakweaver and Imperial? How do you picture places as well?

Did you want physical descriptions, Matt? I've got character maps for a lot of them - a page for each that is covered in all sorts of information about the character. The big question is 'Where have I put them?' They are all in a folder somewhere, but I'm not sure where any more, as I finished writing about them some years ago. I would hate to write out detailed descriptions here and then find I'd given you something other than my original concept.

Characters definitely grow as the stories progress. A year can make big changes in a person - especially a young one. You only have to look at the difference in Andy Murray at Wimbledon this year to see that he has changed from gawky teenager into a man. The same would be true of some of my characters during the stories. Would you want how I originally saw them, or how they appeared by the end of the series? There would be a big difference in some cases.

Well anyones opinion of their physical appearance at any time really. I wanted to see really how different people saw the same chatcter, but it would be veryh interesting to see how you saw them compared to other people.
