help identify art

Hello. recently obtained some Kelly Freas artwork. need help identifying this piece. I recall seeing this cover in years past. but not sure if it is from an Asminov book or from the Science Fiction magazine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! since I am a newbie to this group, I can not give a link or insert photo. the description is below. if this sounds familiar - let me know how to contact you and I will email you photo or link to the photo.
Kelly Freas painting: Preliminary for an Asimov cover (marked on back "Asimov Cover" by artist). ALIEN & SPACEWOMAN next to ROCKETSHIP. exact title not known. Cover concept painting 1960's to early 1970's vintage. Tall Alien has hand on shoulder of Spacewoman wearing bubble helmet. in background is upright rocketship. orange and pink wash background. interesting style. painted on art board. slightly large size. approx. 8" by 9.25". signed KELLY FREAS in lower right.

I don't see how he's supposed to post the picture if he's not yet allowed to upload attachments, Omphalos.

I've seen that picture somewhere before, although I have no idea where. But there's a good chance someone will recognize it from your description and actually remember where it first appeared.
