Re: Book Covers

Just looking at my copy of The Lies of Locke Lamora now and it looks like I only reached page 37... so you did better than me, Leisha!

I liked the Black Magician trilogy too but didn't fancy her next lot. I dunno why.

Re: Book Covers

Yes, I'm dubious because I know gods are in Priestess of the White. But I value my friend's opinion, and she says I'll like the book. And Canavan's definitely good at plots and chracters!

Heh. And that makes me feel good (about Lies of Locke Lamora). I mean, I did keep at it. But nothing was grabbing me... and I couldn't identify with the characters... However, one day I'll read the rest. Several people here have told me the ending is fantastic and the tale speeds it's way there for the last part.

Re: Book Covers

Yeah I was recommended it here... I'll finish it one day!

I might try Priestess of the White. I do like Trudi Canavan.

I also have The Blade Itself in my to-read pile. I'm stuck which book to try after the current one I'm on.
I say definitely read the rest of the Age of Five as the story only gets stronger in my opinion.

As for Lynch, get past the first bit and before you know it, you find a truly delicious story.

I'm reading the Blade Itself right now. Not too bad so far.

I'm now stuck between Lynch, Baker and Rothfuss for what to read next, if I went by which cover I prefer it would be Rothuss, then Lynch then Baker

I loved The Blade Itself if that helps Leisha
