Here's a list I found elsewhere of the most highly acclaimed bands and singers, and I thought it'd make a basis for a little game.

Let's take turns to gradually shrink the list, by removing three acts that we don't like, and adding one that we do like (so that we can re-add something another person has removed, for example, or because a particular favourite singer was missed out)

Eventually we should get it down to a shortlist of bands and singers that most of us like, and ultimately just the one name - which will be the nearest we'll get to having a collective favourite
(once the list has just twenty names we'll stop adding new names, and just remove one each time)
