| Re: Got cats? This is Patch. He's almost 1 I think, either that or he's almost 2. I can't remember, but I know that he was born in August. Hes fat, fluffy, and very ragdoll-ish. He also tries to sniff the heater when we put it on...bad idea. ![]() ![]() |

| Re: Got cats? I have two: The orange one, Misty (who is very clumsy - I've caught her hanging onto my bookshelf for dear life by her front two paws - but also very very gentle), is 14 or 15 and the siamese, Edie, is 10 or 11. Edie can open doors by jumping up and grabbing the handle Misty isn't quite so smart |

| If you see a stranger... | Re: Got cats? Henry is ill. I took him to the vet right after a couple of you helped to squash my doubts that he needed to go. The vet thinks he has F I P which, for those of you who don't know, is always fatal. The thing about the disease though is it's all circumstantial. The vet can't really test for it. He can test for antibodies against the virus which can turn to FIP which may or may not indicate he has it.He can look at the clinical signs, which may or may not mean he has it. So the thing is, I'm not 100% convinced. False hope? Maybe, maybe not. I guess we'll see. Hen is feeling better now that he's all hopped up on antibiotics and steroids. Although not completely himself even after a week of treatment. |

| Re: Got cats? I hope Henry recovers and back to being all of himself again soon BookStop. Now because I'm really very curious and it's been bothering me since I saw the picture ... what are they looking at the two of them. |

| Re: Got cats? Could be just about anything. When Tojo realised that Mum was afraid of spiders, she'd give any spider the hard stare (Phase 1). Once Mum got used to her as a spider detector, she moved on to phase 2, giving the cold, hard stare to a blank piece of wall in shadow. With Mum terrified to actually look, this could go on for hours. |

| Tonari no Totoro | Re: Got cats? Hehe. My old cat, Wesley, he can become a real butt in cold weather, when he's fat and lazy with nothing to do. But he's smarter than freaking hell and really sweet and lovable when he wants to be. He'll be, I believe, about 16 this coming summer. 15 at least-and he still plays like a kitten. He was a wildfire as a kit, though. |

| Living in Paradise | Re: Got cats? What a beautiful group of Cats, thanks Nesa for the update on Mera, my she has grown so much since that little ball of fur. CulI love your manx, he is just a stunning cat. Ace as you know we share a cat name and your tigger is even a little like mine. I love ginger cats, so Henry and Misty are just so cute. We actually had a beautiful orange cat in our office a couple of weeks back and they even have orange eyes, wild.... OR I like Evil cat he is just so furry and he dosnt look at all evil to me. My Tig is now 6months old, I will try to get a couple of pics with him with the dog over the weekend and post. He absolutely loves water and I mean loves, he jumps in the bath, in the sink, the birdbath and even puddles after it has rained outside. I am told this is quite normal for bengals but it just seems odd cat behaviour to me. Also he is increadibly active, seldom naps, well except at night and very very agile, he actually does somersaults. Not having had a cat, I wonder if this is normal, I thought cats slept alot. Mine is like an ever ready battery, he just keeps on going. He walks on a lead outside now, so we go on walks together. |

| If you see a stranger... | Re: Got cats? Our old house had an anole problem - well, the little lizards weren't really a problem, it's just there were lots of them, and they always seemed to get trapped in the house screens. Good entertainment for kitties though. Hen has a check-up today. I guess we'll be able to tell a lot depending on if the antibiotics are breaking his fever. Apparnetly, fip is mostly antibiotic immune. |
