Re: Take a photo - current book, next 5 books

booksforlunch obviously has way too much time on their hands. I, also lacking a digital camera, would also like to participate but being lazy (and not having nearly so much free time), this is my effort:

------------------------
The Dark Light Years Brian Aldiss
------------------------
Lost Worlds Clark Ashton Smith
------------------------
Collected Ghost Stories M.R.James
------------------------
The Worlds of Theodore Sturgeon
------------------------
The Drowned World J.G.Ballard
------------------------
The Sirens of Titan Kurt Vonnegut
------------------------
The Green Pearl/Madouc Jack Vance
------------------------
The Rebel Worlds Paul Anderson
------------------------

I'm actually currently reading the top four.

Re: Take a photo - current book, next 5 books

Well, I took this picture and then my camera died. Hopefully its not broken beyond repair, but if it is, gives me a good excuse to buy a new one.

I am reading the two Legends books at the moment. The rest are To Be Read.

Currently halfway through A Clash of Kings and Douglas Adams' The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul...

The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul - Douglas Adams
-------------------------------------
Gardens of the Moon - Steven Erikson
-------------------------------------
The Lies of Locke Lamora - Scott Lynch
-------------------------------------
Dune - Frank Herbert
-------------------------------------
A Shadow in Summer - Daniel Abraham
-------------------------------------
Sarum - Edward Rutherfurd
-------------------------------------

5 out of the pile of TBR ..oh my..choices choices.

Currently reading "Born Queen" by Greg Keyes so the order is from bottom ---> up although that will probably change 50 times or so by the time I get there.

Re: Take a photo - current book, next 5 books

Only twenty-five, Pyan? I think over a third of my collection (which is over two hundred now) still needs to be read. Yet continue to buy them I do. One day I'll get through them all

And I also like the mini Pyan.

Oh, I've read A Short History of Tractors... My librarian friend at school used to suggest books to read and that was one of them. I think it was good...it was a couple of years ago when I read it...

Steven Erikson seems to be a favourite to read at the moment...

I would move Joe Abercrombie up the pile

I'm deliriously happy there's a 'Jim Butcher' in someone's pile.

I'm at work, so can't snap a photo, but I'll try to remember when I get home...

I would agree. Dump Rothfuss entirely and move Abercrombie into "next to read" spot
