1000 books in two years? And that's three titles. Hmmm... I had bigger expectations of english speaking market. Do you sell only in Scotland? But article and winning a bbc writing competition sounds great! | |

| Re: Self Published and in the Scottish Daily Record That's very good going for self-published novels, far larger sales than most achieve. Completely different level of expectation to commercial publishers! |

| Re: Self Published and in the Scottish Daily Record Hey thanks all The books I sold were really in the first year mostly as my wife gave birth to twins last year and I have not bothered much pushing them...though I still sell on ebay and online now and then...when I get the time... I must admit to being more into writing and being read, than chasing a vast profit...I make a decent wage on the Oil Rig where I work(spit) and think that the BBC win might make my jump onto a bigger stage easier... I have decided to begin approaching agents this summer and see what develops from there...I am in no rush as I am well on with writing Changelings Book3 The Tiger's Eye...and spend my nights on the Rig with my trusty Sony Vaio laptop... If anyone wants to read my book1 as a PDF Ebook....drop me an email MCVEANJIM@aol.com All the best guys James |
