Re: Who said that?

Perhaps it was Euron Crow's Eye? He's known for following the Storm God, if I remember correctly..

Dick Crabb. He took Brienne and Pod to a place called the Whispers. He told them the sound they heard was the whispering heads of those slain by the Squishers.

Re: Who said that?

I'm going to be gone for the weekend, so I'm skipping protocol by not waiting for BB to confirm my answer (it's correct, I looked it up) and posting a new quote.

If you know one of the following speakers, then you'll know them both.

Quote:
"Lys Arryn is a frightened cow."
"That frightened cow shared Jon Arryn's bed."

Correct. (Although one could argue it might be Pod who said it. I'd have accepted either answer).

Jaime and Cersei in Book 1.

If that's right, skip me, I don't have my books with me at the moment.

for those keeping score, this was the conversation that Bran was "eavesdropping" on shortly before his "accident.

Re: Who said that?

BB is correct. Since he's not here, I'll pass the conch to The Imp.

Also, BB thanks for letting me post without confirmation from you... I was not sure if I'd be able to check back at all this weekend and I did not want to leave you guys hanging. And yeah, you could argue it was Podrick Payne and not Nimble Dick Crabb, but I think it makes more sense that Dick says the line.
