Re: Who said that?

WAG #2

Ser Stevron Frey

Will take a long time to guess all those Freys...

Edit: Nope, Stevron died before the red wedding...

so make that Ryman Frey.

Had to get the book to finally get the actual name (is that cheating?). 'Tis indeed the aforementioned smarmy one.

Lame Lothar Frey

If looking in the book isn't cheating then I'll figure out a quote...otherwise don't click the spoiler so you can guess it yourself!

edit: seems spoiler tags work differently on this forum...in which case, don't highlight the 3 blank lines in between my paragraphs.

As Cul pointed out when I used the word cheating in answering a tgrivia question, it's research. I suspect many of the answers are looked up. It would be unrealistic to expect anyone to be able to remember every word of every book. There's just too much material.

Lame Lothar is correct. Here's the passage
Quote:

"Queen Jeyne has a loving heart, I see," said Lame Lothar Frey to Catelyn. "Not unlike my own sisters. Why, I would wager a guess that even now Roslin is dancing round the Twins chanting ‘Lady Tully, Lady Tully, Lady Roslin Tully.’ By the morrow she’ll be holding swatches of Riverrun red-and-blue to her cheek to picture how she’ll look in her bride’s cloak." He turned in the saddle to smile at Edmure. "But you are strangely quiet, Lord Tully. How do you feel, I wonder?"
"Much as I did at the Stone Mill just before the warhorns sounded," Edmure said, only half in jest.
Lothar gave a good-natured laugh. "Let us pray your marriage ends as happily, my lord."

You should just randomly guess more often, as Mirri Maz Duur is 99.99% correct (nothing is absolute!)

...in related news: Boaz gets to proffer the next quote.

Re: Who said that?

Sorry, chump. That's not the quote. The quote is...

Quote:
"Death by poison can seem natural. Harder to claim that my head simply fell off."
And... no, Tyrion is incorrect. But not a bad guess in either case...
