Good thinking. I wonder what royal eyes taste like.

Re: Who said that?

My apologies for holding up the game for several days. Anyway, the quote:
"He that does not die in truth cannot hope to rise from death."

Re: Who said that?

Geezy Weezy-didn't think it'd be so easy! Everyone knows these books too damn well. The only way to keep us all guessing is to use throwaway dialogue from inconsequential characters-a tactic that annoys the snot out of me. Oh well...WSLS* I guess. Good lookin' out, Sword of the Durrrty Souf- its yo play playa!

*"Win Some, Lose Some", text style. If this isn't already in use I would like full credit for creating it, including any material rewards that accompany inventing new ways to enhance TXT msg efficiency. Of course if it's already commonly used...well...WSLS!

Re: Who said that?

Looks like you snuck one in while I was confirming your correctness (Patience is commonly considered a virtue, you know!) And your quote is Walder Frey to Robb Stark about Aegon "Jinglebell".

Re: Who said that?

I have patience, but it was un-officially confirmed, so i just proceeded. Your correct. But you are right, the quotes need to be less than memorable to have a chance of going longer than 1 or 2 guesses. Everyone on this forum must have read AOIAF atleast 4 times. We are obsessed....

That "your correct" meant ur guess was correct. I know Walder Frey is hated, and rightly so, but he is still one of my favourite characters. Only because of the way he talks to people. Heh!

Don't sweat it-I was just jerkin' your chain. Whenever I get overly busy I don't check the forum for long periods of time (which is why I tend to avoid getting involved in this game.) If I don't respond within 1-1 1/2 days feel free to continue without me once the answer is confirmed correct. Anyway, I think this next quote may be a bit more challenging:

"Honor...The point is honor."

Wow. I didn't notice that you had a new one there. I went to see who the last correct guesser had been and lo and behold, there it was

The speaker was the Lady Brienne

Re: Who said that?

Just for the sake of formality, the Op should confirm. 100% sure I'm right though

Re: Who said that?

Since Yoss doesn't seem to be around, the quote was from AFFC, Brieene chapter. If anyone wants to post one for all to guess go ahead, I don't want to hog the game, I just enjoy playing.

Quote:

Crabb thought that was hilarious. "The Perfect Knight? The Perfect Fool, he sounds like. What's the point o' having some magic sword if you don't bloody well use it?"
"Honor," she said. "The point is honor."
