Re: Who said that?

I'd be remiss if I missed this one. It was Tyrion to Tywin

Re: Who said that?

I will accept either one (or both) of two answers for the following. Also, give the responding line and who said it.

"Have you decided what you are?"

Re: Who said that?

The alchemist said that to Pate in the prologue to AFFC. And Pat replied, "I suppose I am a thief."

I've been trying to remember another instance where this question was asked, but I'm coming up blank. Jeor to Jon? Melisandre to Davos? Stannis to Jon? Doran to Arianne? Arianne to Arys? The kindly old man to Arya? I dunno.

correct

in saying two answers would be acceptable I wasn't being clear, but I'm not sure how i could have said it without giving it away. What I had in mind was The Alchemist or Jaqan H"Ghar.

Re: Who said that?

No, you were clear... I was just curious as to the other character.

Okay...

Quote:
"Once. Me and thousands more. Is each of us guilty of the crimes of the others? Might be you are knights after all. You lie like knights, maybe you murder like knights... A knight's a sword with a horse. The rest, the vows and the sacred oils and the lady's favors, they're silk ribbons tied round the sword. Maybe the sword's prettier with ribbons hanging off it, but it will kill you just as dead. Well, bugger your ribbons, and shove your swords up your arses. I'm the same as you. The only difference is, I don't lie about what I am. So kill me, but don't call me a murderer while you stand there telling each other that your **** don't stink. You hear me?"

Re: Who said that?

Great quote Boaz. Though not really a tricky one. Took all of three minutes to be answered .

Re: Who said that?

Okay... I figured as much, but I liked that quote. So what if I'd posted this instead?

Is each of us guilty of the crimes of the others?... I'm the same as you. The only difference is, I don't lie about what I am. So kill me, but don't call me a murderer while you stand there telling each other that your **** don't stink.
