On a lighter note, I remember watching the Wombles as a child, and loving them, but couldn'tn quite work out the songs meaning, as I heard it as " the wombles are wimbled and common are we"??????? Thank goodness I had a big sister who in later years translated it for me to "The wombles of Wimbledon common are we", makes much more sense!!
