| Triceratops | Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! It looks like my newish Blog, Guerrilla Warfare for Writers, has passed in page views during a period of 3.5 months, what my stupid little freewebs site couldn't do in SIX YEARS. Not only that, but I've amassed lots of subscribers, where I had only a handful of website members. I wish I would have know this beforehand--the importance of an interesting and topical blog, as opposed to a simple display platform for my books, in the form of a really crumby website. If I ever do put a website together, it will be a domain website, and damn the cost. So, very happy about the difference in traffic. Oh, and comments too. chris |

| Triceratops | Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! My paranormal thriller, The War Gate, just went live on Amazon. This was a backlist title. I am now one of the officially self-published authors out of 13 books. Unbelievable. Check it out on Amazon--four chapters are a free read. chris |

| <3D~ | Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! I'm getting to see two different productions of The Importance of Being Earnest this year! Once in September, then again in October. Excessive Wilde fan-girling? Would it be sad if I wore a green carnation? Excited! |

| Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! I haven't got any other place to post this, and not really anybody to call about it, either, so I'll stick it up here. I just registered my daughter, who is six, for dance classes! We're not the over-scheduling, run around like crazy type of people, so this is the first "normal" kid-activity sort of thing we've done. (And our son is almost 10.) She's always been very dance-ish and likes to mimic things, so I think she'll really enjoy learning to dance. It's a combination ballet, hip-hop and tap class. I should probably go and post this in frustrations as well, considering the money that's going to go into this operation. |

| Triceratops | Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! Yeah, but the money could be well-spent--you just might have a future super star in your midst. She could very easily prove that with just a few dance seasons under her tiny sash. We got a Karoke machine for my grand niece. She CAN really sing. chris Oh, BTW, here's my happy news. My self-pubbed book, The War Gate which just went up for a free trial today and for tomorrow, is now approaching the top 100 free download list! Unbelievable! You can pick up a copy here: http://www.amazon.com/The-War-Gate-e...4562557&sr=1-3 |

| Triceratops | Re: Shout your happy news to the world!!! Perpetual Man--I can't thank you enough for that. It is difficult finding time to read all these free and low-priced e-books. We just don't have the time. I'm honored that I was downloaded in the first place. Chris--in gratitude |
