I got a job! Okay, it's not a great job, but it's a fun job. I'm working at a discount clothes/shoes/housewares/junk/etc. store, but hey,

IGOTAJOB!!

That was the whole purpose behind moving from Florida to Texas in the first place, of course (see my blog for details My Latest Adventure ) and while it's minimum wage and only part time, it's exactly what I had in mind. If experience has taught me anything, it's that life is not about stuff, it's about fun and love and being with the people you love most (have to include my Chronic Friends in that group) because you really do take everything for granted when things are going well.

I start on monday as the fitting room clerk. I wonder if they frown on going into the men's side and peeking under the doors?

I GOT INTO UNI!!!

And it was my first preference too. The University of Notre Dame to do a BA of Arts. Hopefully going to major in English Literature and Philosophy.

Also I graduated yesterday. It ended twelve years of being at a Steiner school. Twas indeed a sad day for me but I guess the rest of my life will be just as good in many ways.
